Albert Einstein


Albert Einstein was born on the 14th March 1879 and died on the 18th of April 1955 He was a German born theoretical physicist. He is best known for his theory of relativity and specifically mass–energy equivalence, E = mc 2. Einstein received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics "for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect.

Pierre Curie


Pierre Curie Was born on the 15th of May 1859 and died on the 19th of April 1906. He was a French physicist, a pioneer in radioactivity.
He shared the 1903 Nobel Prize in physics with his wife, Maria Skłodowska-Curie (Marie Curie), for their work on Radiation and the discovery of nuclear energy.

His name was give to a mesurment of radioactivity the Curie.
He Died at the age of 46 in a carriage accident in a rain storm

Charles Robert Darwin


Charles Robert Darwin was born on February 12th, 1809 and died on April 19th, 1882. He was an English naturalist, who realised that all living thing have evolved over time from other thing, through natural selection. This is known as evolution.
He is well known for his 1859 book On the Origin of Species which is all about how all living thing have decended from different animals of the past.

Michael Faraday


Michael Faraday, was Born on September 22nd, 1791 and died on August 25th, 1867. He was an English chemist and physicist and added to the fields of electromagnetism and electrochemistry.
He also discovered magnetic field around a conductor and electric current, He discovered electromagnetic induction, and the laws of electrolysis. He invented Batteries, Electricity in our homes and electric Motors
He also made popular words like anode, cathode, electrode, and ion and his name was used as a mesurment of capacitence the farad.

Isaac Newton


Isaac Newton was born on the 4th of January 1643 and died on the 31 March 1727. He was an English Doctor, mathematician, and astronomer. He is known for the discovery of Gravity, when an apple fell from a tree, and his Laws of Motion is known as Newtons Laws.

Galileo Galilei


Galileo Galilei was born on the 15 February 1564 in Italy and died on the 8 January 1642) Galileo is also known for being a physicist, mathematician, and an astronomer, His achievements include improvements to the telescope. He discovered the four largest satellites of Jupiter, named the Galilean moons in his honour, and he also improving compass design.

Nicolaus Copernicus




Nicolaus Copernicus was born in February 19, 1473 and died in May 24, 1543.

Nicolaus Copernicus is also said to be the father of modern astronomy Copernicus was a mathematician, astronomer, physician, and economist.

Copernicus belived that the earth was at the centre of the Universe (See Diagram)
